Running Planner (the "Service") complies with the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea and related laws, and processes users' personal information as follows.
1. Information We Collect
At sign-up (required)
- Email address, password (stored as a hash)
- Or the identifier/name/email provided by the Apple/Google sign-in provider
During onboarding and use (optional)
- Body data: height, weight, birth date, sex
- Training data: goal (race, weight management, casual), injury history, available time slots, training preferences (days per week, weekdays, intensity)
- Best records or arbitrary distance/time records (for VDOT estimation)
When connecting Strava
- Strava OAuth tokens (access/refresh, kept server-side only)
- Activity data: distance, time, average pace, heart rate, elevation, laps, split paces, route (polyline), best-effort records
When connecting Apple HealthKit (optional)
- Height and weight (read only with your permission and stored on our server for VDOT calculation)
Location
- Latitude/longitude of an activity's start point (received via external
platform integrations) — used solely to look up the weather for that
activity and to show record context.
- Current-location coordinates when you use the fueling calculator
(obtained on-demand via the iOS location permission) — used only to
fetch the current temperature, feels-like, humidity, and wind from
Open-Meteo. Not stored on your device or on our servers. If you deny
the location permission, the rest of the fueling calculator still
works with manual entry.
At purchase
- Apple App Store purchase receipts (JWS tokens). The Company does not collect or store payment-method details such as card numbers; Apple processes them.
